What Happens During Fluoride Treatment?

Treatments often come in gel, foam or as a varnish. We will apply this material directly to your teeth for a set amount of time and then clean it off. Depending on the state of your enamel, we may suggest special forms of at-home care alongside regular brushing and flossing, too.

Is Fluoride Treatment Safe?

Fluoride is completely safe for application to your teeth. Most major cities and states add fluoride to their drinking water as a natural dental health supplement for residents. 

Despite not being dangerous, though, excessive amounts of fluoride can cause staining to your teeth. If you have young children, make sure they do not swallow or eat toothpaste while brushing.
